May Yau, a student of the MGSC program, recently published their SURG 560 final report to UBC CIRcle. This report summarizes the final practicum project “Accessibility of Computed Tomography (CT): Survey to identify underserved populations in Rural Alberta”.
This study consisted of a mixed methods survey of physicians who practice emergency medicine out of one or more rural facilities in Alberta and focused on the accessibility of CT in rural Alberta, and perceived impact on patients.
