SURG 560 Final Report: Job and Community Satisfaction Among Perioperative Registered Nurses Within the Northwest Region of British Columbia

 
 

Montana Zaporzan, a student of the MGSC program, recently published their SURG 560 final report to UBC CIRcle.  This report is a summary of the final practicum project “Job and community satisfaction among perioperative registered nurses within the Northwest Region of British Columbia: An exploratory study”.

The project aimed to explore current job and community satisfaction of the participants as well as identify personal perspectives on how to improve retention and recruitment to rural regions in Northern British Columbia in order to construct resiliency within the current fragile systems of healthcare, specifically rural surgery post-pandemic.
