BGSC is excited to welcome two new Faculty members who will be co-instructing our courses beginning in 2024/25!
Dr. Jason McVicar will be joining SURG 518 – Surgical Care in Canada’s Rural and Remote Indigenous Communities with Global Comparisons and Dr. Ruth Vilayil will join SURG 560 – Global Surgical Care Field Practicum.
Dr. McVicar and Dr. Vilayil both bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in surgical care in rural and Indigenous communities in Canada as well as globally.
