Huiyu (Anne) Li has over ten years in the neurosurgery divisions of Medtronic and Johnson & Johnson, where she led and delivered various physician education and training programs. These experiences shaped her commitment to clinical training, standardized protocols, and implementation in resource-variable settings.
Anne’s current work is continuing in the neurosurgical medical-device field with a focus on intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring and external ventricular drainage (EVD) solutions. Drawing on what she learned in the MGSC—particularly in global-surgery systems, implementation, and capacity building— she is applying those principles to advance access, training, and quality improvement for neurosurgical care in China. Her EVD product for ICP monitoring has received National Medical Products Administration approval in China, and Anne is now leading national reimbursement coding and market access work.
