Dr. Charlotte Allen is working in Auckland, New Zealand, as an orthopaedic surgeon focusing on knee and foot and ankle. She works in a low socioeconomic area with high prevalence of diabetic feet. Dr. Allen visits Nuie, a small island in the Pacific Islands and is planning on being involved in teaching and helping in other LMIC in the Pacific Islands.
